Peas get a bad rep, but I’ve always liked them. Nice, simple taste and they kind of pop in your mouth – what could be bad? I think it’s easy to associate them with kids’ food though, so dressing them up is a necessary step in serving them to adults. #adulting

This peas with lemon-tahini dressing was another very easy recipe to make. The dressing made it grown-up tasting, and as a result, would only appeal to people who like Middle Eastern flavors. Luckily, those flavors are kind of my thing.

SK describes this recipe as a sort-of hummus, which I think is an interesting comparison. This really isn’t a dip, but it’s got beans, lemon juice, and tahini. It was difficult to figure out how to eat this – on bread? On the side? Either way, it’s pretty tasty.
