By the time this post gets posted….it’s going to be so long since Purim happened. And then you’ll know what kind of lag time happens between my posts and when they are actually posted. OH WELL! Happy belated Purim! Here are some hamentaschen!
So these were…amazing. Potentially the best hamentaschen I have ever had. The browned butter made them nutty, and the mix of hazelnut and apricot gave it both substance, but fruitiness. All hamentaschen should have butter in them, so we can all be saved from dry seasonal cookies. I will definitely have to make these again next year.
